Traditional graphic suites such as Blender and Autodesk Maya are widely used for 3D graphics creation, but their steep learning curve poses challenges for novice users. This complexity can make content creation time-consuming and mentally demanding. To address these issues, there is a growing interest in innovative approaches that integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into the traditional workflow. These tools promise to enhance user experience and facilitate tasks such as 3D modeling, automation, texturing, lighting setup, animation, and storytelling. This paper investigates the feasibility and potential strengths and weaknesses of integrating OpenAI's ChatGPT 3.5 with Blender, i.e., a prominent 3D modeling software. By combining advanced natural language processing (NLP) capabilities with the robust features of Blender, this work aims to enhance user interaction and facilitate the 3D design workflow. The paper proposes use cases that could benefit from the combination of these two technologies and warns about some limitations of this approach.
