The itinerary, organised by INU Giovani Piemonte e Valle d’Aosta group, focuses on urban transformations, considering some areas involved by the Spina Centrale Project, one of the largest regeneration interventions envisaged by the 1995 land use plan of Turin. In particular, the “urban history” of Spina 2 area of the last decades concerns the renewal and reuse of brownfield manufacturing areas and the construction of strategic infrastructural works, avoiding further land consumption.
