EnglishBetween the nineteenth and the twentieth century, the outskirts of Turin underwent significant changes due to the establishment of industrial buildings. Over the last few decades, the gradual relocation of production activities and the consequent loss of the functions for which these complexes had originally been built have led to their gradual disposal. Although some of them have been totally or partially demolished (or are still waiting for a new use) some industrial buildings have undergone adaptive-reuse interventions within urban regeneration projects.
