The “Carta di Siena” wrote by the ICOM Italia said that museum should not be closed in on itself, but it have to become the engine for the active conservation of the landscape. In this sense is emblematic the case of Bologna with the birth of “Genus Bononiae. Musei nella città”. It has originated an organic cultural itinerary, articulated in different locations; a widespread museum placed inside buildings and churches restored specifically for this purpose. Equally remarkable is the example of the Musées-gallo-romains of Lyon and Vienne, designed as a unitary center and containing interesting educational devices calibrated for children of school age. The paper aims to examine some of these museums analyzing the relationship between museum and the local context in which it is. It also wants to underline the interconnection between conservation, communication and education, and on restoration that have allowed buildings designed for other purposes to accommodate collections.

Abstract
It also wants to underline the interconnection between conservation, communication and education, and on restoration that have allowed buildings designed for other purposes to accommodate collections.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
