We introduce a semi-analytical approach to evaluate the performance degradation caused by filtering effects and linear cross-talk in Digital Subcarrier Multiplexing (DSCM)based coherent systems, and corroborate it with Monte Carlo numerical simulations. Our results demonstrate high model precision with an error in the sensitivity penalty below 0.1 dB.
