We experimentally demonstrate a 100G-PON PAM-4 DSP-based CD-precompensated C-band transmission and direct detection, focusing on enabling multi-ONU receivers placed at arbitrary distances from zero up to 20 km. We show ODN losses up to 31+dB @ 20 km and tolerance of ± 2 km in distance estimation.

Abstract
