Nonlinear interference (NLI) is a performance limiting factor for long-haul transmission in coupled-core multi-core fiber (CC-MCF). We propose to use subcarrier multiplexing (SCM) technique to reduce the amount of generated NLI increasing the maximum reachable distance.
