Abstract

This survey presents some threshold variants of the Schnorr signature scheme selected according to their novelty or theoretical relevance, and evaluates them on four metrics: security guarantees, computational complexity, memory complexity and bandwidth requirements. We will then exploit them to provide a few comparisons in the case of real-world applications, such as blockchain and custodianship.
