This study introduces CAD-based vehicle models optimized for electromagnetic simulations and particularly for the assessment of wireless power transfer (WPT) systems. The models balance geometric detail and computational efficiency to ensure accurate analysis of electromagnetic interactions and human exposure. Mesh quality assessments and the reported numerical evaluations confirm the models' suitability for regulatory compliance evaluations. The Fiat 500 model, used in an example case study, demonstrates the applicability in assessing the compliance of a WPT application with ICNIRP guidelines. The database, freely available under the MIT license, offers a valuable tool for advancing research in WPT technologies and mitigation of EMC and exposure risks in automotive applications.

Abstract
This study introduces CAD-based vehicle models optimized for electromagnetic simulations and particularly for the assessment of wireless power transfer (WPT) systems. The models balance geometric detail and computational efficiency to ensure accurate analysis of electromagnetic interactions and human exposure. Mesh quality assessments and the reported numerical evaluations confirm the models' suitability for regulatory compliance evaluations. The Fiat 500 model, used in an example case study, demonstrates the applicability in assessing the compliance of a WPT application with ICNIRP guidelines. The database, freely available under the MIT license, offers a valuable tool for advancing research in WPT technologies and mitigation of EMC and exposure risks in automotive applications.Pubblicazioni consigliate
