This paper focuses on the work done during the Erasmus+ "Three-Lanka" project with the goal of enhancing renewable energy education in Sri Lanka. With the country's increasing use of solar photovoltaic and wind energy, there is a need for advanced training programs. Previous curricula in Sri Lankan higher education institutions were outdated and lacked practical content. To bridge this gap, the Three-Lanka project developed a set of innovative courses that integrate online theoretical lectures, in-person laboratories, and practical experiences, aligning with the European Union standards. These courses give students the skills necessary for installation, maintenance, and management of renewable systems, supporting Sri Lanka for a more sustainable energy future.
