This work aims to investigate the organisational and supply chain (SC) readiness to adopt the Digital Product Passport (DPP) within the textile industry. An exploratory multiple case study was conducted, adopting the a-priori model of organisational readiness for digital innovation as the theoretical lens. Results identify limited cognitive, cultural and strategic readiness at the organisational level and low IT readiness at the SC level. This work contributes to the SC management literature by expanding the theory on organisational readiness to the SC domain, focusing specifically on readiness of SCs to endure legislation-induced changes targeting concurrently digital, sustainable and circular dimensions

Abstract
