Research on the Protection and Development of Industrial Heritage in China and Europe under the Background of Urban Renewal—the Case of Hanyeping Company

As the first steel and coal joint venture in modern China to use advanced machinery and equipment for large-scale production, Hanyeping Company is an important practical case for scientific and technological exchanges between China and Europe. Based on the research on the construction of industrial heritage systems in China and Europe, the paper sorts out the historical development background and actual protection situation of the Company, and analyzes the intrinsic connections and shared values of industrial heritage in time, space, function and cultural dimensions.
