In achieving policies that lead to the development of resilient urban systems, hazard mitigation and prevention strategies must begin to adopt urban-scale analyses as the first stage of expeditious assessment, to which detailed analyses at the individual building level should be complemented. The paper illustrates, through a case study, the application of urban-scale analysis tools on historical centers to highlight the potential and limitations of these tools in seismic risk management.

Abstract
In achieving policies that lead to the development of resilient urban systems, hazard mitigation and prevention strategies must begin to adopt urban-scale analyses as the first stage of expeditious assessment, to which detailed analyses at the individual building level should be complemented. The paper illustrates, through a case study, the application of urban-scale analysis tools on historical centers to highlight the potential and limitations of these tools in seismic risk management.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
