L’esigenza di una dimensione intercomunale per Torino. Riflessioni sul ruolo della pianificazione

The paper reflects on the role of urban and territorial planning practices in supporting settlement dynamics aimed at sustaining adaptation processes embedded in the challenges of development. In this regard, the past experience of the Turin Intermunicipal Regulatory Plan brings to the present day topical questions not only addressed to the identification of a "right dimension", but also of a "right institutional subject" and a "different way" in doing spatial planning.
