Abstract
The theoretical debate on planned conservation and maintenance is well known and consolidated to expect significant and structured availability of adequate tools and practices to ensure choral, synergic and coordinated actions. The current situation often leads us back to the permanent difficulty to carry out actions with a systemic approach, reconciling instances related to the plurality of scales, cultures and technical knowledge. Starting from the need to outline, case by case, the cognitive framework of each artefact and its link with the environmental, territorial and cultural context, the authors propose some reflections following a research programme dedicated to the integrated digital platform 4Main10Ance. The specific objective was to meet the needs of the Sacri Monti of Piedmont, but it was conceived with a more ambitious methodological approach. The aim was to create an operational tool that would be effective in the short and medium term, useful for building a common language and recovering specific building cultures. We are faced with a diverse, diffuse heritage in which the characteristics of outstanding episodes have been preserved in a considerable variety of techniques, materials and languages, often not sufficiently recognised and even more fragile. The paper presents some experimental programmes of implementation of the 4Main10Ance platform in various contexts, in collaboration with different actors, and first encouraging results.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
