The Spoke 6 of Agritech aims to introduce management models supported by digital tools for the acquisition, transmission, management, and storage of data, to trigger sustainability and resilience in agriculture. Six units, scattered in Italy, are developing a platform aimed to calculate agronomical indicators, starting from data collected through field observations, laboratory tests, punctual sensors and remote investigations by drone and satellite. Among these sources, meteorological data are paramount input. These parameters are primarily available through public regional meteorological networks, but good opportunities are offered also by weather stations deployed by companies and private individuals. To harmonize data collection, a network to retrieve data from private stations, usable by all operational units, in some cases with coverage extended to a full province or region, is being realized. An automatic procedure to acquire regional meteorological data is being constructed.
