We propose an optical network architecture exposing environmental sensing functionalities using the network elements streaming telemetry. We experimentally show the detection and localization (with 100-meter accuracy) of anthropic activities by state-of-polarization monitoring of two IM-DD channels copropagating with 94 coherent channels.

Abstract
We propose an optical network architecture exposing environmental sensing functionalities using the network elements streaming telemetry. We experimentally show the detection and localization (with 100-meter accuracy) of anthropic activities by state-of-polarization monitoring of two IM-DD channels copropagating with 94 coherent channels.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
