This paper investigates the requirements of the GNSS-Scatterometer. Remote sensing algorithms have been applied for extracting geophysical characteristics of the ground where the reflection of the GPS signal occurs. In particular, different characteristics of cross-polarization (X-pol) of antennas designed for GNSS-R experiments are tested and shown. This study is useful for GNSS-related experiments for improving the accuracy of parameter retrievals.
