To date, the Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies are involved in the architectural survey and documentation processes for the management of the building heritage (H-BIM). In recent years, the use of H-BIM methodologies combined with the development of specific algorithms in the Visual Programming Language (VPL) environment has been explored to reduce the gap between three-dimensional modeling and information modeling. This was possible thanks to the development of BIM tools that incorporates VPL functions. The study briefly presents a set of innovative, interoperable, and semi-automatic procedures for: i) the three-dimensional modeling of some not standard building components ii) the mapping of the surfaces and their digital annotations. The case study is the facade on Via Porta Praetoria 42-52 and the entrance hall of the Palazzo Ansermin, in Aosta. The proposed procedures are not intended to replace traditional modeling procedures rather to integrate them. According to this, the proposed workflow starts from photogrammetric survey procedures (point clouds, orthophotos, and textured meshes) to get to the 2D and 3D drawings, schedules and documents efficiently managed by a unique platform.

Abstract
According to this, the proposed workflow starts from photogrammetric survey procedures (point clouds, orthophotos, and textured meshes) to get to the 2D and 3D drawings, schedules and documents efficiently managed by a unique platform.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
