This paper reports on the additive manufacturing of waveguide components and subassemblies for antenna-feed chains operating in the Ku, K and Ka bands. The aim of the activity is the monolithic manufacturing of an entire dual-band antenna-feed chain working in K-Ka bands. To this aim, several components have been preliminary fabricated through the selective laser melting process in AlSi10Mg alloy, for which detailed comparisons between predicted and measured performances are reported.

Abstract
This paper reports on the additive manufacturing of waveguide components and subassemblies for antenna-feed chains operating in the Ku, K and Ka bands. The aim of the activity is the monolithic manufacturing of an entire dual-band antenna-feed chain working in K-Ka bands. To this aim, several components have been preliminary fabricated through the selective laser melting process in AlSi10Mg alloy, for which detailed comparisons between predicted and measured performances are reported.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
