In present work a test rig for cold flow test experiments on linear aerospike nozzles has been designed at Politecnico di Torino. CFD analysis was performed on 2D and 3D aerospike models in order to understand which would be the better inlet nozzle geometry able to work with the designed test-rig mass flow. A time resolved pressure measurement system has been designed for the study of flow instabilities.

Abstract
