The bowing in marble is a well-known phenomenon and it has been studied along the last decades; however, the key mechanisms responsible to cause this pathology are not well agreed between the experts. Some approaches to model this phenomenon were done by different authors considering distinct hypothesis. In this paper is proposed to approach the bowing phenomenon using nonlinear concepts and its relationship with three different boundary restraint conditions.

Abstract
The bowing in marble is a well-known phenomenon and it has been studied along the last decades; however, the key mechanisms responsible to cause this pathology are not well agreed between the experts. Some approaches to model this phenomenon were done by different authors considering distinct hypothesis. In this paper is proposed to approach the bowing phenomenon using nonlinear concepts and its relationship with three different boundary restraint conditions.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
