Recent results on analytical modeling of non-linear interference due to signal propagation in multi-span optical systems are reviewed, including high-symbol rate and ultra-wideband scenarios. Latest advances in nonlinearity mitigation, based on the use of machine learning techniques and nonlinearity tolerant modulation formats, are also discussed.

Abstract
Recent results on analytical modeling of non-linear interference due to signal propagation in multi-span optical systems are reviewed, including high-symbol rate and ultra-wideband scenarios. Latest advances in nonlinearity mitigation, based on the use of machine learning techniques and nonlinearity tolerant modulation formats, are also discussed.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
