High order scalar and vector basis functions have been developed that permit accurate modeling of singularities in electromagnetic fields at geometric edges, corners, and tips. At the Conference we summarize what philosophies have been used in their development and the results obtained so far, and will identify future work needed in this area. A bibliography that can help the interested readers to deepen this subject is provided.
