In the present work bonded magnets production, materials and adoption in applications are presented and evaluated. The effects of different process parameters are analysed and described, supported by experimental activities in own laboratories. A new magnetic material family has also been introduced: the Hybrid Magnetic Composites (HMC). Bonded magnets were tested in various practical applications, especially regarding rotating electrical machines and magnetic sensors. Interesting and promising results were obtained for the proposed bonded magnets.

Abstract
