Abstract
An inverse algorithm for the reconstruction of the fundamental prompt eigenvalue is illustrated and tested against a simulated pulsed experiment in a subcritical system. The method is then applied to the analysis of data obtained from subcritical experiments performed on the KUCA reactor, in the frame of an IAEA Coordinated Research Project on "Accelerator Driven Systems (ADS) - Applications and use of Low-Enriched Uranium". The discussion of the results allows to evidence the features of the method proposed, and possible issues that may arise in the interpretation of real experimental data.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
