Today the spread of the BIM methodology, Building Information Modelling, is changing design standards in building projects. This methodology allows the digital design of a building that is quantifiable, interoperable, modifiable and coherent among the elements that compose it, in every phase of its life cycle. The real peculiarity of BIM lies in the fact that the model is not only a representation in purely geometric terms of the building; it is a virtual reconstruction of the project, using components that are the virtual equivalents of those used in reality. The evolution of technical design over the last decade has been driven by the adoption of parametric modelling and cooperation with ICT technologies. In order to professionally train young engineers, professors have the task of introducing into teaching the basic concepts of interoperability that will then be necessary for future professionals. All this leads to the need for a renewal of the educational process for the building engineer of the future, who must become aware of the various technologies. This work proposes a methodology for the creation and manipulation of BIM information models through the use of artificial intelligence. Leveraging the interaction with a voice assistant, whose diffusion has increased in recent years, it will be possible to control the BIM Authoring software for the guided creation of models through voice. The case study analysed concerns the realization of the architectural model of a simple room. The tool gives the user the possibility to act on the various constructive objects, modifying them. Thanks to the communication based on client-server architecture, the tool communicates with the BIM software, showing in real time the operations performed on the model, through voice input. The system is therefore configured as a tool to support all those who want to refine their skills related to BIM by configuring itself as a didactic support tool, useful to train the designers of the future.

Abstract
The system is therefore configured as a tool to support all those who want to refine their skills related to BIM by configuring itself as a didactic support tool, useful to train the designers of the future.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
