In this paper, a procedure for the design of multi-beam antennas based on the use of the M Q C 10 -Biogeography Based Optimization (M Q C 10 -BBO) algorithm is presented. Preliminary results obtained by its application to multi-beam reflectarrays and multi-beam transmitarrays proves the effectiveness of the proposed approach
