In the last years, it was developed an interest in biodegradable plastics due to the environmental impact of conventional plastics. Particularly bio polymer blends in order to obtain a biodegradable plastic with high mechanical properties intermediate between two polymers. In this work we have used PLA and PHB. Since these polymers are basically immiscible, we have operated on the process conditions to improve their miscibility. Therefore the aim was to have a feedback on the improvement of miscibility through morphological study.

Abstract
