Eruzioni e interventi antropici: modelli Informativi e basi di dati per un progetto integrato di documentazione - Eruptions and anthropic interventions: informative models and database for an integrated project of documentation

The research refers to the definition of performative workflows for the realization of information models aimed at the documentation and management of historical buildings in a state of ruin, thinking about some critical steps in the parametric modeling, including: the data conversion from the point cloud to the semantic modeling of architectural component; the level of tolerance of the 3D modeling; the accuracy for each building component. The case study are the ruins of the church of S. Maria delle Grazie in Misterbianco, buried under the lava flow of 1669 and recently brought to light.
