The research draws inspiration from BIM methodologies - more conventionally applied in the field of Construction Industry - to build a workflow capable of virtually reproducing 3D objects, integrating geometric and semantic information. The case studies are some small objects belonging to the collections of the Egyptian Museum of Turin and pursuing different levels of knowledge: from scientific research, to the data management system, to the setting up of virtual platforms for dissemination.

Abstract
The research draws inspiration from BIM methodologies - more conventionally applied in the field of Construction Industry - to build a workflow capable of virtually reproducing 3D objects, integrating geometric and semantic information. The case studies are some small objects belonging to the collections of the Egyptian Museum of Turin and pursuing different levels of knowledge: from scientific research, to the data management system, to the setting up of virtual platforms for dissemination.Pubblicazioni consigliate
