In this paper we demonstrate a low-complexity pre-emphasis technique for electronic subcarrier-multiplexed signals to mitigate transceiver bandwidth limitations. As opposed to traditional FFT/FIR-based pre-emphasis techniques, we propose a simple and effective power-ratio optimization between electronic subcarriers that requires only 1 real multiplication per subcarrier.
