The construction of temporary settlements for large groups of migrants during their transfer from disaster-stricken countries to new destinations raises a number of difficult issues: -it is necessary to respond in the first place to the immediate housing needs not of isolated people, but of ethnic groups and communities, guaranteeing performances that are able to overcome the psycho-physical stress of users, tragically affected by the sudden succession of events. -the use of the awning first-time solution gives rise to agglomerations of precarious structures which can rapidly degenerate into deplorable hygienic-sanitary situations
