This paper proposes an integrated battery charger for an electric vehicle driven by a switched reluctance motor. To deal with fast changing speed demands of the electrical vehicle, a hybrid energy storage system is chosen. Unlike the conventional integrated battery chargers, the proposed integrated battery charger includes several power converters with high integration level, leading to lower component counts. Regarding the drive controllability, the proposed converter with less number of switches is able at providing full control for the motor, such as independent phase current control and separated magnetizing/demagnetizing control with high demagnetization voltage. In battery charging mode, the converter is reconfigured to form a buck-boost power factor corrector. Simulation results demonstrate the performance of the proposed solution.

Abstract
Simulation results demonstrate the performance of the proposed solution.Pubblicazioni consigliate
