Smart city maps, that inevitably have to be extended to the new frontier of the smart land, must always to be connected in a multidisciplinary dimension that has to be connected, in addition to engineering and architecture, also to information sciences, logistics and in a certain sense also to topology.

Abstract
New urban dimensions, strongly conditioned by the diffusive presence of the information network, require in the interaction among transportation systems and services a mapping that cannot forget the presence of elements that are not included in the traditional city design.
