With regard to the questions of our meeting, the paper wish to point up the following aspects: - the problematic use of bibliometric indices advices to apply these with care and only as a complementary tool to grasp the quality assurance of the proposed research; - the separation between theoretic, historical-critical studies and design activity seems to understate the complexity of our discipline; - any direct relationship between the format of the curriculum and the research evaluation seems to be risky; - the character of our discipline (performative knowledge) demands to take into account the didactics activity for evaluation criteria; - the evaluation of the design activity should consider the quality of methodological and theoretic proposal rather than the professional result.
