This paper presents the results and the methodology carried out by the research group of the Department of Design and Architecture at the Polytechnic of Turin in the field of Interaction Design for sustainable mobility. These two apparently dissociated disciplines found the contact point in a three-year research project between the university and a car company R&D department of the Italian territory: Centro Ricerche Fiat. The cooperation has produced an innovative approach to sustainable mobility and different concepts in the field of Human Machine Interaction (HMI).
