Abstract
There is no doubt that the discovery of exoplanets has made interstellar space mission much more interesting than they were in the past. The possible discovery of a terrestrial planet at a reasonable distance will give a strong impulse in this direction. While precursor interstellar missions are feasible with present technology, true interstellar travel, even in the form of simple robotic flyby missions, is still far away in the future. For now we can identify the enabling technologies, which are not only linked with propulsion, and start developing them.Pubblicazioni consigliate
