In this work the experimental results of a tests campaign on Inermet® and pure Molybdenum are presented. The experimental test campaign was performed both in tension and compression in a wide range of strain-rates (between 10-3 and 103 s-1) and temperatures (between 20 and 1000 °C). The high strain-rate tests were carried out using standard Hopkinson Bar setups and the heating of the specimens was obtained with an induction coil system. The data were, finally, analyzed in order to extract the parameters of strength material models.

Abstract
