Aircraft radome design is a complex engineering task requiring a long and expensive experimental work. Hence, reliable computer simulations become essential in order to estimate radome electrical parameters before going to prototype manufacturing. In order to perfom a realistic antenna simulation a new approach has been developed based on data experimentally acquired from spherical near field test range.
