The Master Program on Navigation and Related Applications is a post-graduate study for Master’s Degree on Satellite Navigation jointly organised by Politecnico di Torino and Istituto Superiore Mario Boella. The program is offered in English to students from around the world. The Office for Outer Space Affairs of the United Nations gives its support in the selection of some students coming from developing countries, thus contributing to the spreading of knowledge on this innovative field. The Master Program is sponsored by industrial and enterprise partners, which host the students of the Master program for their internship after the class room learning period and they also provide the Master Program with some teaching staff who bring their real world working experience to aid the classroom learning. This paper presents the Master Program curriculum, and the role of the United Nations that brought this program to benefit the developing countries. The Program’s interaction with industrial partners is also introduced. Furthermore, the results of the first class are presented.
