Abstract

The realisation of the European Galileo satellite system compatible and interoperable with the Global Positioning System(GPS) is going to drive the realisation of innovative applications based on positioning. In this context, interoperability with GPS and other external systems (e.g. Inertial Navigation Systems- INS) requires the employment of user platforms able to guarantee a high degree of flexibility and reconfigurability.
