Integrated typomorphological theory in the West emerged in the 1990s. Despite decades of development, integrated typomorphology still lacks a widely accepted definition and a complete, unified research framework, while related studies in China remain at an early stage. Against this background, this study takes the core area of the East, West, and South historic and cultural blocks in Luoyang Old Town as its research object. By combining multi-source data analysis with field investigation, this approach proposes an alternative to the localization of typomorphology, thereby enriching the theoretical and methodological dimensions of its localized research. On this basis, the study reconstructs typological maps and roof plans for different historical periods in the core area. Further, it examines the characteristics and operative mechanisms of its typomorphological transition, thereby providing an analytical basis for subsequent studies on the conservation and regeneration of the historical and cultural blocks of Luoyang Old Town.

Abstract
Further, it examines the characteristics and operative mechanisms of its typomorphological transition, thereby providing an analytical basis for subsequent studies on the conservation and regeneration of the historical and cultural blocks of Luoyang Old Town.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
