Valorizzare per conservare: restauro urbano e sviluppo culturale nel centro storico di Alba

The town of Alba has experienced urban growth, resulting in restoration interventions that often show little respect for the existing heritage. Today, Alba faces challenges in heritage conservation and tourism management, with a lack of coordination in restoration processes. Cultural initiatives aim to balance conservation and development but with difficulties. This paper proposes solutions for a dialogue between tourism and residents from a sustainable and historically perspective.
