Virtual recurrences. About building typologies in the AI era

In the vast landscape of publications exploring the role of generative AI and Machine Learning in architectural and urban design and planning processes, this brief contribution reflects - on a primarily cultural level - on the complex relationship between graphic mechanisms of cataloguing and designing the architectural and urban historical heritage and these advanced technologies. The perspective is that “cultural” of the design discipline which, while embracing new opportunities and being aware of potential risks and limitations, must and can move forward with care and awareness.
