Abstract
The article explores the emergence of a new model of urbanization, attentive to places, tradition, contexts, and nature. We would call it “regionalism”. After decades of standardized and aggressive urbanization, the new generation of Chinese architects and urban planners is working to preserve the historical and environmental identity of places, particularly in rural areas and historic centers. This approach offers solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and durability. Despite economic challenges, awareness is growing among investors and administrators of the importance of urbanization that promotes the long-term well-being of communities.Pubblicazioni consigliate
