Abstract: Based on an in-home survey of child-rearing behaviors in bathrooms, this study focuses on conducting ergonomic experiments related to caregivers' infant bathing behavior. By collecting skeletal motion data of caregivers, a dynamic behavior- space model is constructed to explore the relationships among the elements of "human" "machine" and "environment". It analyzes the conflicts between the bathroom environment and infant bathing behavior, and proposes optimization suggestions for residential bathroom design from a child-friendly perspective.
