Il Covo degli Arditi. Pratiche di conoscenza, recupero e riuso alla luce delle stratificazioni di utilizzo del progetto Ophelia a Potenza

The “Covo degli Arditi” was the ambulance gallery of the asylum complex in Potenza. The asylum, designed by L. Quaroni and M. Piacentini, was never used as such. The gallery hosted the Fascist Revolution Museum and it’s now abandoned. This contribution wants to reconstruct the “Covo degli Arditi”’s history, and to try and propose new interpretations for its conservation and reuse, although it bears this double, difficult memory of being both an asylum and a remnant of the Fascist years.
