Villa Ottolenghi in Acqui Terme was the result of a successful patronage involving renowned artists from 20th century. Herta Wedekind who contributed to this project as both artist and client, offered an original perspective to look for continuity in the creative and planning phase. Herta herself set the guidelines for the layout as well as the general atmosphere of the project, paying specific attention to the garden design. Her initial imput significantly influenced the works of the designers who participated in this project throughout the years.
