The contribution investigates the transformations of the Roman theatre of Alba (CN), now hidden in the basement of the church of S. Giuseppe. The structure has recorded numerous changes to the architectural layout with the construction of residential buildings and then a church. In recent years, with actions of protection and enhancement, the site links the archaeological area, the inside of the church and the bell tower, with a museum network that includes other cultural sites of the city.

Abstract
The contribution investigates the transformations of the Roman theatre of Alba (CN), now hidden in the basement of the church of S. Giuseppe. The structure has recorded numerous changes to the architectural layout with the construction of residential buildings and then a church. In recent years, with actions of protection and enhancement, the site links the archaeological area, the inside of the church and the bell tower, with a museum network that includes other cultural sites of the city.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
